Gun Club

The rage of youth

More questions than answers in this photo. I could say this is a photo taken in Mid West America where the right to bear arms and defend your property is paramount and fundamental to society. That you teach your children to fight, to shoot and that you defend the second amendment until your very last breath. Or it could just be two teenagers being silly with plastic guns somewhere in suburban Melbourne. Are we really responsible for the connotations of our images? Can we not just shoot what's right in front of us? It feels like we are in a holding cell of compulsive curation and articulation - that we have to explain, to apologise, to plan, to ponder and tow the line of political correctness that now resembles sanctioned insanity. What happened to 'Guerrilla style shooting?'
